Friends..or more?

I have this friend, she's been my friend for 3 years and we have so much fun together. We joke around alot and we're all like "I love you" but just joking as friends. Once she told me she actually meant it, I thought she was joking so I just forgot about it. A few days ago she told me she felt neglected since I spend so much time with my other friends. Yesterday I told her about my new GF. She was so crushed (mostly because my new GF has the same name as my friend). I told her I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to do. I want to be friends with her, but I love my GF. What should I do? -Confuzzled Friend

I've been in a similar situation before, so I can relate. My advice is to tell your friend you're sorry, but you like your new GF and she can't make you break up with her. Tell your friend that you like her, but only as a friend, for now.
